I meant to say this last night, but I was having problems which caused Jeff and I to have problems with the site today. All is well now, though, and I can now update anytime I want.

I had an awesome time visiting Jeff (of course) and Jeff's family. I am so excited to move out there. I can't imagine how beautiful the area would be once there is snow there or when the "foliage" is alive. And yes, I want to paint it. I wouldn't have even thought about it before, but it was crazy to actually see the whole sky to the horizon without any buildings, mountains, or smog in the way. The thought of moving someplace so different is so exciting to me...even the weather seems exciting, although I am sure I wont' think it is so cool after awhile...er...I am sure I will think it is literally cool...but not fun to be in...but I was surprised that the cold was just that- cold. I guess when the only reason people give me to stay here is the weather, I thought it was something that would be beyond anything I could ever imagine and that it would alter my life completely.

The trip would not have been fun had Jeff and his family not been there. Jeff's parents and Gina and Josh are some of the nicest people I think I could ever meet, and I had a lot of fun visiting...or rather listening to all the stories. It is awesome that they were willing to drive out a ways just to meet me and I hope that they are glad that they did...despite the mall being incredibly lame.

The schools were awesome. I love the area, I love the thought of living someplace different, I loved the campuses, and...um...I love Jeff. The trip left Jeff and I a ton to talk and think about. I feel incredibly lucky for this to be happening, and as the time goes by it feels more and more tangible. I really do get to live in the same vicinity as the coolest, nicest guy I can imagine, and we get to start making plans together. I miss Jeff...even though we both agree that we are doing what is best, it seems unfair that we can't be around each other more often...or just at all. I didn't think we'd be seeing each other before this summer, so this was really special to me. I look forward so much to making Jeff happy as long as I can, and I am so glad that I was able to come out to visit.
